   Had to change things around at the last minute as we lost a couple of players to illness and a couple of lads were a bit under the weather having been ill the day before.  The lads who played today really put a big effort in to get a hard fought draw on a heavy energy sapping pitch.
  We kicked down the slope in the first half and had alot of the play but did'nt create many good chances as the final ball went astray or some solid defending broke up the move. The first half seem to fly by as both teams were 100 % committed. 0 - 0 at half time.  
  We started brightly in the 2 nd half and kicking up the slope seemed to improve our passing. One good move ended in our goal after some great work by Coby F, Matt H fired home from a deflected shot.  Mellor came back strong after this but Lewis A. Lewis M. and Kyle S. defended fantastically and Matt T. dealt with any shots  that came in. It was going to take  a good goal to undo our defence and it was a good goal as Mellor made 1-1. We had a couple of chances to snatch it before the end but it was'nt to be. Today's M.O.M. was awarded to Nathan B.
