Football is all about having FUN, making new friends, getting fit, working as a team and developing life skills.
Winning is a great feeling for everyone involved, but we DO NOT follow the ethos of putting out a team to WIN at any costs and do our best to be as fair as we can to everyone.
Blue star Under 10's Aces play on Sundays in the the Under 11's Red League of the East Lancashire Football Alliance. The team itself has remained virtually unchanged in 5 seasons and finished 3rd in the 08/09 season and scored more goals than any other team in that league before being promoted to the red league 09/10 season.
During the summer we will be training at Blacksnape Playing fields between 6pm - 7pm although we hope to return to our spiritual club training ground at Branch Road, Lower Darwen (entrance next to Riverside nursery). All you will need is a pair of suitable football trainers, shin pads covered by socks. You'll also need plenty of enthusiasm and the will and desire to enjoy playing and learning to play footbal. If you put in the effort you'll also need a refreshing non-fizzy drink!
